Dayo

Price:  $1600

Sire:  Buffalo Bill
Dam:  Juniper

Service Sire for 2012 calf:   RR Mercenary then RR Remarkable Buzz

Horns:  Heading for the sky with HUGE base;  39" T2T on 4/17/10; 40 1/4 T2T, 16 3/4" base and 74 1/8 Total Horn on 10/16/10

Yes she has long horns, but no she isn't a Longhorn!  This beautiful African Watusi heifer is a daughter of the incredible Buffalo Bill.  She is Registered Foundation Pure, which means she is a direct descendant of the original African Watusi bloodlines brought into the US.  I'm not interested in raising Watusi's, but you can't help to admire their horns, and breeding them to a good longhorn bull results in some incredible trophy steers, which I hope to get out of her being bred to RR Mercenary.  She has the perfect lyre shaped horn growth and although she was dark red for the past two years, she shed off to a nice tan color (just like her sire Buffalo Bill) this spring.  She's quite a standout in the crowd!
